Other general meetings
1.
There will be a general meeting open to all members every
four months.
2.
A Special General Meeting, open to all members, will be held
if twelve or more members submit a request for such a meeting with their
reasons to the secretary.
The secretary shall arrange for the meeting to take place within twenty-one
days.
3.
A Special General Meeting cannot be called within 12 weeks of the
Annual General Meeting.
4.
The secretary will publicise all general meetings at least
five days in advance.
Quorum
1. No General
Meeting or Annual General Meeting shall take place if less than 10 members are
present.
2. No committee
meeting shall take place if less than 5 of the committee are present.
Changes to the constitution

Voting
Any member may make a proposal. In order for it to be voted on by
other members it must be seconded or supported by someone else.

Before voting any member may propose an amendment which
must also be seconded.
3. No member shall
exercise more than one vote.
4. The Chair will
not exercise a vote. However, in the event of an equal vote, the Chair shall
have the casting vote.
5. Voting procedures shall be decided by a majority of those present.
Dissolution
1. The Association
may only be dissolved at a Special General Meeting called for that purpose,
which must be advertised 21 days before the meeting.
2. A proposal to
dissolve the Association shall take effect only if agreed by two thirds of the
members present at the meeting.
3.
Any assets (financial or otherwise)
remaining, after the payment of all debts and liabilities, shall be given to
charitable organisations, according to the wishes of the members of the
outgoing committee.
