 We are working closely with Youth Services to bring the young people on our estate a new youth club. All KCA members are CRB checked and a KCA member will attend every youth club as an extra pair of hands (and eyes!) The youth club will be for the 11+ age group and there will be a minimum of three staff on duty, plus a KCA member.

We have already applied for funding for this youth club and when received we will decide, after consultation with Youth Services and the young people, whether to offer one night a week for two years or two nights a week for one year. The intention is to then try and secure additional funding to run the youth club for five years.

We should have a response to our funding application within the next 8 weeks, but plan to try and launch the Youth Club at the beginning of July. Watch this space for further details.
